Volunteers Make It Possible

What do our volunteers do?

Volunteers help with a wide range of kitchen activities from food prep and coordination of group activities, to cleaning, packaging, setting up and food distribution. Depending on the day, the tasks can vary, however usually it's structured around an event at Desert Community Kitchen. There are also regular volunteer events for those who are able to offer more consistent help.

    Volunteers participate in a one and a half hour volunteering activity at Desert Community Kitchen peeling and chopping, packaging matzah and helping prepare for the Upcoming Passover Community Seders!
